New Team Selected at Vigorous and Fun LPM Convention 2015
With the LPM’s first(?) pub crawl on Friday night, featuring fab keepsake t-shirts that invited multiple inquiries and positive comments (sometimes intense), the LP of Michigan’s 2015 convention in Kalamazoo demonstrated convincingly that what’s fun gets done… or at least sets up a positive foundation cooperative, productive behavior. The speakers:
- C. Michael Pickens—keynote
- Darryl W. Perry—banquet
- Brian R. Wright—breakout
- Pastor Neil Carrick—luncheon
… all gave rousing and thoughtful presentations to the enthusiastic assembly. The new leadership team has set its sites on a plan and vision, the sense of the body is that the principle ‘factions’ negotiated to an amiable result with opportunity to be part of the next phase. Kudos to the new team, shown below:
Left to right (standing): Jason Brandendburg, Secretary Mary Buzuma, Jeff Wood, Chair Kim Moore, James Weeks II, Arnis Davidsons, Treasurer Jonathan Osment, Vice Chair Karl Jackson, and Justin Burns. The other business of the convention was bylaws and platform. The following link below takes you to the convention announcement page:

We didn’t plan for this, but road construction has the exit ramp to the Holiday Inn West completely closed. It’s going to be closed all summer long. Anyone coming here via I-94 should use this route to get to the convention.
