Background of Michigan Libertarian
The first issue of the Michigan Libertarian was probably printed in 1973 shortly after the Party’s founding, but the oldest one we have available here was published in 1975. If you have an older one, we would love to have a scan of it for our archives.
From March 1998 through July 2009 the online newsletter served as a digital supplement to our print newsletter. These were not just two formats of the same publication; each had its own unique content. The print newsletter was entitled “Michigan Libertarian” and the virtual newsletter was normally entitled “LPM Online.”
Starting in August 2009, the Michigan Libertarian went digital, removing the need for the separate LPM Online publication. Members who wish to receive hard copies can ask to have those sent to them by U.S. Mail.
