That being said, I do not wish to cause any ill feelings. I know running an all-volunteer organization is a difficult task, and you can’t please everyone. The libertarian party did not have an office during the 1980’s and early 1990’s. It survived that. Consider the following: * It is only $200 per month. * The Lansing organization is one of the most rapidly growing affiliates. * It is a presidential election year. * The at-large membership was not given a chance for input. Finally, I have pledged $50 to keeping it open. Only 47 equal pledges needed to make it happen. Anyone who feels as I do should leave a message with: 1-888-FREENOW . If that doesn’t happen, then I will find myself in agreement with the majority of the LEC. There is no point keeping it if it is not valued by a small portion of the membership. Just another view |
