All 3 candidates for St Clair County Commissioner have been invited to attend question and answer sessions with the County's largest newspaper the Times Herald. The editorial board has invited Ken Keppler along with his Democratic and Republican opponents to attend the 9-19-06 session. John Acre and his Democratic opponent have been invited to the 9-26-2006 session and Michael Colston has to confirm his scheduled session. The Editorial board will be deciding who to endorse based on these question and answer sessions. In addition a local radio station interviewed and aired a conversation with County Chair Mark Byrne about the Libertarian Party running local candidates for the first time in St Clair County. Bill Hall, the LP candidate for Attorney General, is polling well at 4% in a recent Survey USA poll. His support with very limited media exposure lends further credence to a receptive voting public for Libertarian candidates and ideas.
