Last Sunday's LEC meeting was cancelled due to weather concerns. There was some Email discussion regarding the new membership structure as UMP has come to an end. We will be switching to a membership in which everyone's membership will come up for renewal at the same time every year. We are leaning toward a date of just before the state convention. We hope to first use an electronic message to remind members to renew. That will be followed by a snail mail solicitation cojoined with the convention announcement. If you have any suggestions, Email me at Chair@michiganlp.org
The LPM will be hosting a Leadership Conference on Sunday March 26th. We will be offering training to Candidates, Campaign Managers, and will be offering a class on how activists and politicians can best work together. Currently we are planning to hold the conference at our Lansing office. Stay tuned as the details are nailed down.
