   November 19, 2005 - 6:00 PM

   Liberty Fest 2005! Our annual after-election celebration will start off with a delicious dinner by the fine chefs at Sajo's. Following that, we will enjoy the political satire of libertarian comedian Tim Slagle, who has performed at the Libertarian National Convention and was featured on MTV and Showtime. Then we will honor our top activists with the famous "Libby Awards". This is a night you don't want to miss.

   Tickets are $55 per person. Please make checks out to "Libertarians of Macomb County" and send them to 28960 Jane, St Clair Shores, MI 8081-1032. Deadline for reservations is November 9th.

   LIBERTY FEST!
   
   We still need nominees for the awards to be given out at Liberty Fest. We need the names by this Friday, 10/7/05.
   
   The awards are as follows:
   
   1. Spokesperson for Liberty - a member of the community whose patriotism and conviction have inspired contributions to the cause of Liberty.
   
   2. Promoter of Liberty - A Libertarian whose efforts have done the most to promote the LP and Libertarian principles.
   
   3. Producer of Liberty - a dedicated, behind-the-scenes Libertarian whose quiet labors over the years exemplifies the backbone of the LP.
   
   Please send your nominees to me at Chair@michiganlp.org with a brief essay on why your nominee deserves the award.
