Our main speaker is with the Citizens for Parental Rights. Check out their website at: http://www.citizensforparentalrights.org/. In addition to a fine meal and quality speaker, we will be handing out awards. This is a great night to thank local activists for their year-long efforts to expand freedom in West Michigan. 3. Note From the Chair: by Nathan Allen

    1. Attend the LEC meeting from the comfort of your own home. At the suggestion of David Raaflaub, we will be broadcasting our LEC meetings over the Internet. Keep watching LPM Online for details on how to log in on the day of the meeting.
    2. I met with three more affiliates last week.
I met with Capital Area on Tuesday, Macomb on Wednesday and then over to Washtenaw on Thirsday. The influx of great ideas is overwhelming. I hope to have every affiliate mirror the LEC and have a person appointed/elected to interact with their counter part on the LEC. Every affiliate should have a contact person for Newsletter editor, Membership, Political, Development, and Communications concerns and should be in frequent contact with their LEC counterpart. This will make communications throughout the LPM much more efficient.
    3. Your Turn to Shine.
We still need LPM members to accept the positions of Devleopmant Director, Communications Director, and Newsletter Director. We do have a Newsletter Editor! Send your Affiliate news to newsletter@michiganlp.org We don’t want to see a blank space in the newsletter where your news should be…
