Our main speaker is with the Citizens for Parental Rights. Check out their website at: http://www.citizensforparentalrights.org/. 2. Notes From the Chair by Nathan Allen

    Newsletter Update:

Andrew Wrenbeck has agreed to be our newsletter editor. The first issue will be the July/August issue. The deadline for submitting articles to the newsletter is June 5th. Send your newsletter items to, newsletter@michiganlp.org I hope to see an article in the newsletter from every affiliate about their recent activities or their future plans. The newsletter is only as informative as the affiliates make it. Mr. Wrenbeck has only agreed to edit the newsletter so that means we are still looking for a Newsletter Director to sit on the board.

    Web Server Update:

The LPM has changed web servers and now has 33 times the space, at about half the cost, of our previous server. I’d like to encourage all the affiliates who have a website to consider using the new server to host their websites. We are also looking to build a web team to keep our web site current. If you have web site experience please volunteer to give some of your time.

    Meeting with TCLP:

I met with the Tri-Cities LP last week and was treated quite well by a fine group of activists. I left the meeting feeling like the TCLP is an affiliate anxiously looking forward to future success. They had more questions than I could adequately answer and I look forward to working with them to resolve their questions over the coming months.

    Busy Week:

This week will be fun! I’m meeting with the Capital Area Libertarian Party tonight and will be at the Macomb meeting Wednesday evening, then over to Washtenaw on Thursday. If I haven’t set a date to meet with your affiliate yet please contact me at, chair@michiganlp.org Some of the contact info for the various affiliates may not be accurate. I hope to meet with every affiliate before the first LEC meeting on June 12th
