    Freedom Dinner 2005 hosted by the Tri-City Libertarian Party. Guests Michael Badnarik & Gary Nolan will be speaking on the obstacles of the 2004 campaign and election. Tickets are $35 (sale deadline Feb.20), tickets will not be available at the door. Michael will be holding his Constitution Class on Sun. Feb. 27th at the Linden Hof restaurant in Bay City.   2. School District Elections by Leonard Schwartz

    Promote Libertarianism by Getting Elected to Your Board of Education

    Nonpartisan school district elections create a great opportunity for Libertarians to get elected to public office. Most school district elections will be on May 3.

    To become a candidate you must file an "Affidavit of Identity" with your county clerk. You must also either (a) pay a $100 filing fee, which usually is refundable, or (b) file petitions. Your county clerk can tell you how many valid signatures must be on your petitions. The deadline for filing candidate paperwork is Feb. 8.
