  2. POST-ELECTION PARTY with MICHAEL BADNARIK

    The annual Liberty Fest banquet is scheduled for Saturday, November 13 from 7 to 11 pm at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 2200 Hampton Place, off Okemos Road just north of I-96 exit 110. The banquet cost is $45 per person including dinner and door prizes. There will also be a raffle. Special room rates of $75 for the event can be reserved by calling the Hampton Inn at (517) 349-6100.

    The keynote address will be delivered by Libertarian Presidential candidate Michael Badnarik, fresh off the campaign trail. Author of a book on the U.S. Constitution titled "It's Good to be King", he will present a constitutional integrity seminar on Sunday from noon to 4pm, also at the Hampton Inn. The seminar fee of $50 includes a copy of his book and is payable at the door.

    Awards will be presented after the Saturday banquet to Defender of Liberty recipients. A social hour with a cash bar begins the evening at 6 o'clock, with Mr. Badnarik scheduled to speak at 7:15. Sponsored by the Capital Area Libertarian Party, reservations are being accepted by Will Tyler White who can be reached at 517 349-3806, or you can mail a check to CALP, POB 27065, Lansing MI 48909-7065.
