  2. Clawson Independence Day Parade by Leonard Schwartz

Clawson's Independence Day Parade usually is Michigan's largest. Both U. S. senators, the governor, and other statewide officials usually attend.

The Libertarian Party of Oakland County will have a float -- with its 7-foot tall Statue of Liberty.

All libertarians are invited to walk with the float and help pass out libertarian literature. The parade route is less than two miles long.

The parade starts at the Clawson Shopping Center parking lot, on the south side of 14 Mile Road, just east of Crooks Road. Set up starts at 8:00. The parade starts at 9:00.

We hope to see you there on Friday, July 4.
