  2. Credit Card Processing Automated by Greg Dirasian

The Libertarian Party of Michigan has now automated its processing of web site credit card charges. Previously, though the charges were secure, the process still required human intervention to manually process the charge. Now, when you make a credit card charge on our web site, no other human being will ever see your credit card number.

We would appreciate your help in testing this system for ease of use. As much as we try to anticipate everything somebody may enter, it is impossible. Please consider making a $10 or $20 contribution today and help us make certain that the system is as user-friendly as possible. Just go to:
    https://michiganlp.org/FarmTeam.php
If you have any feedback on ease of use, please email it to: CreditCard@michiganlp.org.

  3. Libertarian Party of Ohio convention by Mary Pacinda

Dear LPM, I realize that plans for your own state convention are also underway right now and that ours follows yours only by about one month. However, I would love for your members to know what we're doing down here. Some of them may consider it worth the trip south for this one. So, would you please pass this message on to your members? The Libertarian Party of Ohio will be holding their convention in Dayton this year from May 9 through 11. We will have Vin Suprynowicz, a nationally syndicated libertarian columnist; Doug Bandow, a CATO Institute fellow; Sam Staley, a free market analyst from the Buckeye Institute; and Neal Boortz, a nationally syndicated libertarian radio talk show host, as speakers. We will also feature two discussion panels: one on national marijuana policy and one on the Second Amendment. Please go to www.lpo.org and follow the convention link for more information. The site has our entire schedule, including links to speaker's sites, a printable registration form, and more.

    Hope to see you there!
