The Oakland County Voter Guide from the League of Women
Voters came out last week. Two of my opponents didn't
respond to the LWV questionnaire. Were they merely lazy or
did they think that any response would hurt them?
The primary election is Tuesday, August 6. I need
volunteers to help distribute literature at polling places
in Oak Park, Huntington Woods, and Pleasant Ridge.
To volunteer, please contact me:
Phone: 248-546-3569

Inventory Reduction Sa - er, Giveaway!! The
Libertarian Party of Shiawassee County has several hundred
of each of the following LP brochures, which we will gladly
give to any LP affiliate which promises to distribute them:
Suggested Books About the Philosophy of Liberty
History of the Libertarian Party
The Libertarian Party Program
Towards A More Sensible Drug Policy
How To Make Your Neighborhood Safe Again
Solving the Health Care Crisis
Whatever Happened to Your Family Budget?
Why Libertarians Support Equal Rights For Gun Owners
Ending the Welfare State
Please contact Ben Steele III at bsteele1@tir.com if
your affiliate wants some of this literature. Tell him
which ones and what quantities and allow him up to a week to
respond.
Also, the LPSC will once again have a booth set up at
the Shiawassee County Fair from August 4-12, 10 am to 10 pm,
and could use volunteers to man the booth and pass out
literature, especially during the daytime hours. Statewide
candidates or those who are running in districts which
include Shiawassee County will find this an excellent
opportunity to meet hundreds of voters. We have distributed
nearly two thousand pieces of campaign literature in one
week at this fair. CALL, do not email, Ben Steele III if
you would like to help (989-288-5616-- please don't call
about literature listed above). Also, any candidates who
want us to distribute literature for them at this fair are
encouraged to call Ben ASAP to arrange a way to get the
literature to us. We will be happy to distribute it for
you, but won't be willing to drive across the state to pick
it up.
