    Libertarians of Allegan County monthly meeting. We will continue working on plans for the Allegan County Fair parade and booth.
    Location: James Joyce residence, 334 Cutler Street in Allegan. Take M-222 to Allegan City Firestation, go south on Walnut, one block, turn right on Cutler, the Congregational Church is on the left, park in the church parking lot, the Joyce home is across from the church.

    From September 6th through the 14th, Libertarians of Allegan County are hosting an informational booth at the "Good Ol' Allegan County Fair". This fair has the highest attendance numbers of any county fair in Michigan, or so we are told. Please call or e-mail if you want to help for a couple hours at the fair booth. Our booth hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 12 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

    News from Leonard Schwartz for Judge of District Court 45B:

    Leonard Will Speak at NAACP Candidate Forum

    The Southern Oakland County NAACP is holding a forum for district court candidates on Sunday, June 23. The meeting starts at 4:00. The candidate forum starts at 4:45.

    The forum is at the Southfield Center for the Arts, 24350 Southfield, south of Ten Mile Road.

  3. Scotty Boman / Major Party Status Meeting by Greg Stempfle

    Want to help make the Libertarian Party a major party in Michigan? State Board of Education candidate Scotty Boman is likely to earn the necessary 150,000 votes to qualify the LPM for major party status for the 2004 election. Come to our strategic planning meeting June 19, 2002 at the LPM HQ at 7:30. In addition to putting together a fundraising letter, we'll be planning our campaign strategy and discussing the ramifications for the LPM should major party status be acheived.
