  2. 47 State House Seats Without Incumbents In 2002 by Ghazey Aleck

When recruiting candidates, county commissioners seats are up, some road commission seats are up, 110 State House seats are up, 38 State Senate seats are up, and 15 U.S. House of Representative seats are up. Given the LPM's success at winning non-partisan local races, I still feel that emphasis should be given to running Libertarians for the county positions, but for those interested in running for State House, 47 seats will have no incumbent running.
