- Ballot Access Lawsuit Project
by David Raaflaub
A ballot access lawsuit has been prepared by Tom Jones,
Bob Schubring and David Raaflaub: based largely on equal
protection grounds. Donations are coming in.
Our projected budget through the U.S. Supreme Court is
$10,000. If you would like to pledge support, e-mail:
Hraaflaub@aol.com. We have 4 people who have pledged
support of $550 so far.
If the petition drive fails (it is currently behind
schedule with insufficient pledges to accomplish the job),
this lawsuit is the only hope. The Ann Arbor Libertarians
have been denied local ballot access by the City since loss
of statewide ballot access. Relying on the Republicans to
change the top of the ticket rule is silly.
You can also call: David Raaflaub, lead attorney, at
734-769-2645.
