The LPSC is now meeting on the first and third Sundays
of each month at 701 S. Chipman, Owosso, 7:00 p.m.
Last week 26 people let me know that they would collect
2,895 signatures to get the LP on the Michigan Ballot. That
brings the total responses to:
We still need more people to agree to get involved.
"Many hands make light work."
Whether you expect to get 0, 1, 5, 50 or 500
signatures, please let me know. Usually, it takes about 1
hour to collect 25 signatures. Although we have 180 days to
collect the signatures, the planning committee would like to
encourage everyone to collect as many as possible in the
first 60 days.
I would like to hear from the 95% of our membership who
have not responded.
Please email me an estimate of the number of signatures
you expect to collect. If you will not help, that
information is important too. My email address is:

Got Ideas? Here's your chance. All Libertarian Party
of Oakland County members are invited to attend the
Strategic Planning Session, Saturday, January 13, 2001, at
LPM Headquarters. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM and
last until we are finished.
Many of our members have offered excellent ideas, but
planning, funding, and volunteer labor are always at a
premium. Join us, discuss your ideas, and round up the
support to turn your ideas into reality. At the end of the
day, we will have a project plan (with dates) for the next
year.
Several people have already told me about exciting
ideas they want to advance. In addition, we already have at
least two exciting (and winnable) campaigns planned for this
year. If you only make it to two meetings this year, this
should be one of them!
The LPOC Executive Committee meeting scheduled for
January 10, 2001 has been cancelled due to the forthcoming
Strategic Planning Session. Please join us on January 13 at
LPM headquarters instead.
