The prize is a $300 certificate good toward the

guarantee that we will still have tickets if you wait too
long!

- LPWM protests in GR
by Jason C. Miller
The Libertarian Party of West Michigan organized a
multi-affiliate tax day protest in Grand Rapids on April 17.
Libertarians from the surounding counties, and state LP
officials like Stacy Van Oast and Diane Barnes, joined to
protest the income tax.
Organizers estimate that 4000 pieces of "million
dollar" literature were handed out by the almost 50 people
that attended it.
The Libertarian Party of West Michigan received
coverage at 6:00 and 11:00 from WZZM TV 13. WOOD radio
reported on the story throughout the day and allowed new
chair Joe Bomarito the opportunity to speak on their
afternoon talk show. Local newspapers did interviews, but
it is not certain when their articles will run or to what
extent.
The one certain thing from this years protest is that
next years will be even bigger.
