  3. Alleghan County Organizes by Rick and Krystal Dutkiewicz

Greetings from the dark Allegan Forest!

Seven enthusiastic LP members met here Tuesday, September 21, 1999 to establish the Allegan County affiliate of the LPM. I'm ecstatic, I'm tired, and I'm eating dinner, so I'm making this real short. Tomorrow, I'll send more details to the various individuals who need various details. You know who you are...

We decided to call ourselves the Libertarians of Allegan County. We agreed upon bylaws and elected a Central Committee, and we will submit this information to the state chair for certification.

I'm really proud of our core group. We have a very passionate, gracious, and literate group of libertarians to start our affiliate on the right track.

I'm feeling deeply grateful to all of you who have supported us with wise advise and friendly encouragement.

The libertarian noise level has just gone up on this side of the State.

Special thanks to Emily Salvette for traveling many miles to assist with the parliamentary procedure. Thank you, Emily. Words are not enough!
